Lower the bed until the height of the chair and ensure that brakes are applied.<\/p>\n

Place the chair in a 35-degree angle in relation to bed, position the footrests and apply chair brakes.<\/p>\n

Position yourself in front of your family member, hips and knees bended in order to ensure body balance.<\/p>\n

Cross arms of your family member and place your arms around his\/her waist.<\/p>\n

In a single movement, pivot him\/her towards the bed.<\/p>\n

Position your family member.<\/p>\n

Make sure that your family member body is aligned.<\/p>\n
